Foster Dogs Animals Available for Adoption

Bones is a sweet dog about 40 lbs. he gets along great with people and would make a wonderful companion for anyone.Unfortunatly he dosent get along with our other male dog. bones is about 3yrs old he is neutered and has all of his shots. he is house trained and likes cats. Torro is a 4 year old black lab mix and he was left at Alleghany animal shelter by his owners as they were moving out of the country.  He had been at the shelter so long, he was next to be euthanized.  He was saved by his foster mom and is living with her now.  He is neutered and has all his shots.  He lives with 2 other dogs at his foster home and gets along very well with them, he is very affectionate and loves to be petted.  He is housetrained and does not stray from the house, he will not leave without his foster mom.  He has done extremely well at the dog park and plays very well with all the dogs he meets.  He is a lovely boy with no special needs, just a home to call his own and lots of love just for him.  He would do really well with a family with children or just an active person who can give him long walks...Please call Paula if you can offer him a forever home on 336-982-5209.

Per our discussion...I am forwarding a picture of Lizzie.  My friend and I will be glad to foster her and will  oversee the process.  Thank you for allowing me to post her picture on your web-site.  I have grown fond of her, however, I struggle with trying to provide what she may need --open space to run.  She has been spayed, vaccinated for rabies, distempter, and kennel cough.  She went through two weeks training with John Quy to learn basic commands.  She has received Advantage for fleas every month.
 
Therefore, her attributes include:   She is  house-broken, crate-trained, knows basic commands such as sit, wait, stay.Very energetic and playful.  Needs more work on leash and walking and would love a safe place to run and play.  Not a good candidate for small children because she jumps when excited. We have been fostering Lola since we rescued her from the streets on July 4th. After an unsuccessful search for her original owner, we had her spayed and microchipped. All her shots are current, and she is housetrained. Lola is a wonderful dog; unfortunately, our current living situation will not allow us to keep her permanently. She deserves a loving home and would make a great addition to a relatively active family with a yard. She would probably be happiest with another canine companion, but she would also do well as an only pet, provided her new owner makes sure she gets the exercise and mental stimulation she needs.
 
Lola has a sweet disposition and fun puppy energy, and she has demonstrated her ability to learn quickly. She has mastered “sit” and short “stay” and is progressing well with leash walking—takes her about two minutes to settle into her stride. She gets along well with other dogs and cats. She enjoys running in a yard and taking walks, but is also happy lounging around the house. She’s a great dog and deserves to be part of a great family.
