Watauga Humane Society's Animal Shelter operates on private donations. Every donation is greatly appreciated. Your donations pay for everything ~ animal medical expenses, food, shelter maintenance, cleaning equipment and supplies, electricity, water, heating fuel, shelter staff wages, and much, much more.

Fundraisers
We hold many fundraisers throughout the year, and several of these are annual events. Below is a list of our Annual Fundraisers:
We also have several ongoing fundraisers. One of these is sponsoring a homeless pet. If you'd like to sponsor one of our shelter animals, your donation will be used to help pay for food, vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery, medicines, and care for the animal while at our shelter.

Organize Your Own Fundraiser To Benefit Watauga Humane Society
If you'd like to help the Watauga Humane Society, why not organize your own fundraiser and donate the proceeds to our organization?
You could organize a bake sale, yard sale, concert, collect items from our wish list from people at your church, school, or office. There are so many different ways you could raise money for us and we are happy to help you plan and organize your fundraising event.

, and you could make it your goal to raise enough money to buy that item... for instance, you could take up a collection to buy us more dog beds!
